Elävän Kulttuurinen Koroinen (EKKy) is a non-governmental association located in Koroinen which is a culturally, historically and environmentally important place in Turku, Finland. EKKy respects natural and cultural diversity and works to protect them. In order to that, it provides e.g. an allotment garden, courses concentrated on sustainable lifestyles, an ecological cafeteria on Sundays and cultural events.
In addition EKKy rents a medieval bishop’s house for weddings, graduations, birthdays, parties, meetings and hobby groups.

EKKy offers space for weddings, namings, birthdays and other big personal celebrations.
The main building has a kitchen, a small room downstairs and a hall for possible lectures, exhibitions, and small gatherings for 20 to 30 people. There is also a room for relaxation and possible accomodation upstairs. There is also a possibility to rent a sauna for less than 10 people at a time.
As the whole area is quite wide, altoghether it can accomodate approximately 50 people and provide a place for celebrations to more than 70 people. There are two toilets in the main building and one outhouse.
You can rent the main building also for hobby groups, such as for yoga, painting, cooking and dancing.

If Sunday cafeteria has to be closed during the rental time, there is an extra 100 € fee.
